About Tyler Boye
The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is home to one of the nation’s top photography programs and the alma-mater to one of its star pupils, Tyler Boye. Following his studies at RIT, Tyler moved to Los Angeles, California, where he began a 10 year journey honing his craft and building an outstanding reputation as a celebrity portrait photographer.
Tyler has been a regular contributor to Women’s Wear Daily and the ultra-hip L.A. magazine, 944. His portraits can often be seen in W Magazine, Time, InStyle and Star. In addition to his fashion and celebrity work, Tyler’s prestigious client list ranges from Warner Brothers to Maybelline, The Geffen Playhouse and the world-renowned LA Philharmonic Orchestra.
Tyler’s stellar reputation earned him a coveted Photographer’s Pass to the Academy Awards and the Grammys, where his tireless energy and flattering style made him a favorite among California’s countless celebrities. Recognizing a kindred artistic spirit, his Hollywood clientele quickly came calling. Before long, Tyler was honing his artisan’s vision on the intimate occasions of some of the best known names and faces of the celebrity set.
And so Tyler Boye Weddings was born.But the trifles and transience of Hollywood could never supplant Philadelphian roots. It is where all the faithful return and Tyler is no exception.
