Four Brew-worthy Events at Blue Bell Country Club That Need to Be on Your Social Calendar

April 6, 2016

Elevate your brew-tasting experience and join us at what we like to call “the country club that breaks tradition.” We’re not the stuffed shirts, pretentious attitudes and boring beers of the past here at Blue Bell Country Club. We have it going on this year with our premier lineup of contemporary local hop-master events—as they bring what they brew best to our members.

The craft beer craze promises to be in full swing with our Summer Beer Tasting Series, which will be held on the second Friday of every month. Four exclusive members-only beer-centric events will take place at several impressive locations throughout the grounds of our spectacular 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature golf course.

Mingle with other members (and select guests) as you meet-and-greet with representatives from award-winning local breweries. Sip the newest summer seasonals, relax and enjoy the company of friends, family and even some of our professional team of Blue Bell pros. “It's always an inclusive event with our valued members as we taste and learn about the different brews while introducing new guests to the benefits that memberships at Blue Bell provide,” affirms Rich Clegg, Activity and Sales Manager.

Take a look at these four fun-filled ways that you can get your social life and your taste on with us at Blue Bell Country Club:

1.    Sly Fox Beer maintains its place as a Pottstown/Phoenixville brew-de-force that has been consistently cranking out over 100 varieties of the hops since 1995. Take note of their utilization of local flavor to name brews such as Pikeland Pils, Rt. 113 IPA and Chester County Bitter while grasping a real flair for seasonals like Grisette Summer Ale, Oktoberfest and Slacker Bock.

When: Friday, April 8, from 6–8 p.m.

Where: The Lobby

2.    Weyerbacher Brewing Company has been flowing with double IPAs, Belgians, hybrid styles, invented styles, barrel-aged styles and sour beers since the mid-90s. This Easton-based brewery offers a flavor for just about every palate.

When: Friday, May 13, from 3–7 p.m.

Where: Driving Range-Demo Day

3.    Victory Brewing Company opened its modest doors back in 1995 and last year welcomed a brand new brewery tucked in the farmlands of Parkesburg. With locations in Downingtown and Kennett Square and pumping out 141,000 barrels in 2015, this brewery shines with Summer Love, Golden Monkey, spring seasonal Kirsch Gose and our favorite—the classic Hop Devil.

When: Friday, June 10, time to be announced

Where: The Terrace

4.    Stoudts from Adamstown, established in 1987, boasts authentic lagers and ales including American Pale Ale, Winey Fat Dog Imperial Oatmeal Stout and a Brewer's Reserve Saison.

When: Friday, July 8, time to be announced

Where: The Terrace

These events are free of charge to our valued members. Reservations are assured by calling (215) 616-8109.

Our Summer Beer Tasting Series is exclusive and is not open to the public; however, each member is encouraged to bring a guest to join in the excitement. And don’t forget to continue your enjoyment and make plans for dinner at Putter’s Grill.
