Walk, Sip and Munch Your Way Through Our Oktoberfest Beer Walk

We don’t need to look at the calendar to know that Oktoberfest is in the air! What better way to join in the celebration than to take part in our member-exclusive Beer Walk? Stroll designated stations along the holes of our Arnold Palmer-designed golf course with other members and taste seasonal brews from some of our favorite brewmasters.

Rich Clegg, membership director of Blue Bell Country Club, says, “With the success of last year’s wine walk, we decided to expand the series and do a Beer Walk on September 16. Personally, autumn beers are my favorite, and there are so many different offerings from both local and national craft breweries. Pairing traditional Oktoberfest bites with either a pumpkin or Oktoberfest-style beer makes this the perfect event to celebrate the season while mingling with other guests.”

We’re setting up seven tasting stations with local craft breweries where you can sip, nosh, compare handicaps or just relax and enjoy the view.

Station 1 is located at our recently constructed firepit. Warm up with Philadelphia’s Yards Brewing Company's favorite seasonal brew.

Station 2 is on the ninth hole green side, where Easton's own Weyerbacher Brewing is sure to bring some of that tasty Imperial Pumpkin.

Stations 3 and 4 are at our practice facility, where Lancaster Brewing Company and Pottstown's Sly Fox Brewing will be teaming up with their perspective Oktoberfest favorites.

Station 5 brings you to our final hole, but certainly not the last sip, with 15-barrel Conshohocken Brewing Company's seasonal offering on the 18th green side.

Station 6 is our first tee and and gets a bit scary (in a friendly way, of course) with our friends from Philadelphia’s Evil Genius Beer Company.

Station 7 is situated on our putting green where Brewery Ommegang from Cooperstown, N.Y., will be pouring seasonal brews.

The event is always a sellout since we enjoy making sure our members and their guests have a good time celebrating Oktoberfest. So bring your best lederhosen and dirndl and get ready to have some fun. Prost!

RSVP via Clubster at just $50 (members are welcome to bring guests).
