Top 5 Reasons a Blue Bell Country Club Membership Will Make 2020 A Year To Remember

December 11, 2019

In 1911 a surgeon by the name of Richard Clement Lucas made a curious prediction that in the year 2020 human feet will have morphed to have one big toe. In 1966, Arthur Clark predicted that in the year 2020 we would live in flying houses. In 1900, John Elfreth Watkins Jr. predicted neither C, X, nor Q would be in our current daily alphabet.

And here we are… the year is 2020 and while these (and thousands of other predictions) still seem far off, at Blue Bell Country Club our prediction back in 1994 when the Club opened its doors was that we would create exceptional member experiences for years to come. Today our 2020 vision has come true and continues to be crystal clear: Time Well Spent. Here are 5 Reasons why Blue Bell Country Club predicts 2020 will be a year to remember: 1. Premier Golf

Challenge yourself with a custom designed experience on our award-winning 18-hole Arnold Palmer designed golf course with a demanding layout, hazards and strategically placed bunkers. Take advantage of our clubhouse facilities, driving range, short game area, and golf carts. Make sure your name is at the top of the tournament sign-up sheets. Our Head Golf Pro, Joey Pohle plans a creative lineup of competitive and fun tournaments throughout the season.

Flashback: In 2017 an entirely new irrigation system was put in which leads us to today’s pristine playing conditions.

2. Delicious Dining

Now introducing Executive Chef Su. She’ll be feeding you and the little ones with her expansive Sunday Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner menus at Arnie’s Restaurant. If there’s a sports fan in the family, we’ll let you inform them about the 17+ HD screen TV’s for member game watches. Join us on a weeknight and you’ll likely catch one of our theme dinner nights such as: Pasta Night, Prime Rib Night, Wok’in Wednesday, Seafood Specials, and more. Enjoy the setting of Terrace dining overlooking the golf course or the more sophisticated casual vibe of Arnie’s dining room.

Flashback: In 2018, formerly named Putter’s Grill received a complete makeover and is now Arnie’s Sports Bar & Restaurant.

3. Create A Social Life

Meet Jennifer Davies, General Manager. Jennifer not only oversees the vast number of happenings at the Club, but is a professional at creating ways to ensure members are included, involved and engaged at the Club. This past year our team compiled 25 golf and social events to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, including: Dueling Pianos Caroling Night, Wine Walk, Fall Family Festival, The Art of Sushi Class, Movie Night at the Pool, Brunch with the Easter Bunny, Superintendent’s Revenge, and much more. Whether you’re signing up as a couple, a family, or an individual, we are certain you will find an event to enjoy… we can’t wait to share the 2020 event lineup.

Flashback: For the past 10 years, Quizzo has been a monthly staple at the Club restaurant. It continues to be a member favorite.

4. One-Stop-Shop

Our membership offers access to beautiful 25-meter swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, and a private fitness center. The pool gates open Memorial Day weekend and the area features a full-service cabana, reclining furniture, and adult and family social events.

Food and frozen drinks served poolside followed by an afternoon volley on the tennis courts is truly Time Well Spent.

5. The Reviews

At BBCC, we are proud that member referrals are the biggest source of our growth. It is our pleasure to share their experiences and feedback.

"I have been a member at BBCC for nearly 20 year. I grew up on the course and enjoy watching my son grow up there as well. "The Country Club offers fun and entertainment for all ages. There are events planned that act as a great segue to meet other families. These relationships extend outside the Club and last a lifetime."
